Wendy Jenkins was given two years to live… over 15 years ago. Diagnosed with a life threatening lung condition, a rare and risky lung transplant was her only saving grace. While lucky enough to match with a donor, the double lung transplant left Wendy with ongoing complex health issues, which prevented her from having children, shortened her life expectancy, and led to severe depression and PTSD. Determined to overcome mental illness and improve her wellbeing, she discovered a strong passion for neuroscience-based resilience and the way our nervous system and brain work to give us mental strength. More than 15 years later, she is the Founder of Ready Resilience, a certified resilience coach and speaker; empowering forward-thinking businesses to strengthen their teams through neuroscience-based resilience training.

Wendy’s successful career in HR for some of Australia’s leading organisations meant a stand-out re-brand of her positioning in the industry was needed. Ready Resilience is so incredibly meaningful to Wendy due to her personal story, and the intention was to reflect professionalism, WOW factor and a calm neuroscience design, that also represented her dynamic personality and attracted like-minded corporate clients. Next for Wendy is to develop her own personal brand’s domain to promote her story and upcoming book. This advocate for advancing forward - not just bouncing back - is here to leave a legacy.

I acknowledge the Traditional Owners — the Kulin Nations, particularly the Wurundjeri, Boonwurrung, and Wadawurrung people — upon whose ancestral lands I live and work. I pay respect to their Elders, past, present and emerging, and acknowledge the pivotal role that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people continue to play within the Australian community. Sovereignty was never ceded.
